A Novel Fabrication of RuO2/TiO2 Nanofilms for Electrocatalytic Reduction of CO2

在旋涂有球状纳米TiO2薄膜的导电玻璃(ITO)基底上采用循环伏安法(CV)电沉积RuO2作为电催化还原CO2的阴极. 采用场发射扫描电子显微镜(FE-SEM)表征了RuO2/TiO2纳米薄膜的形貌, 并应用近稳态电位扫描法和计时电流法(it)研究了薄膜的电催化CO2性能. 结果表明所构建的RuO2/TiO2薄膜中纳米粒子大小均匀、排列致密, 且较传统热分解法所得催化剂有更好的电催化性能.

RuO2 electrodeposited on spherical-TiO2 nanoparticles-spin-coated ITO substrate by using cyclic voltammetry (CV) was used as the cathode for electrocatalytic reduction of CO2. The surface morphology of the as-prepared film was characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and its electrocatalytic performance was assessed by quasi-steady-state potentiodynamics and chronoamperometry (it). The results show that the as-prepared RuO2/TiO2 nanofilm consists of uniform and compact nanoparticles, exhibiting superior electrocatalytic activity and stability for electrochemical reduction of CO2 as compared to that prepared by traditional thermal decomposition.
