运用弹性膜理论结合三角网格动力学模型模拟研究了平行板压缩软粒子的过程, 仔细考察了压缩过程中软粒子的形状变化、应力响应、力学松弛和粘弹行为. 模拟结果与已有的实验基本一致.

A triangulated-mesh model, combined with elastic membrane model, was developed to simulate the soft-particle compression, which involves two parallel plates squeezing a soft particle. With this model, we studied a range of mechanical properties of the soft particle including the deformation (shape profile, which was visualized through our simulation) of the membrane, the strength response, stress-relaxation and viscoelastic behaviors of the particle. These results obtained by our model were compared with some existing experiments, indicating excellent agreements.
