封面介绍A facile approach is developed to synthesize Li3PO4-coated Li-rich Mn-based oxides (LRMO) as cathode materials for rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. The synthesis involves in-situ carbonate-phosphate precipitate conversion, which ensures homogenous coating of Ni3(PO4)2 layer on precursor surface and formation of Li3PO4 layer during subsequent calcination.
