Synthesis of Nanosized Perovskite Powder Using Amorphous Complex Method and Their CO Catalytic Oxidation Performance

The nanosized perovskite powders of LaCoO_3, La_o.9 Sr_o.1 CoO_3, LaCo_0.3 Mn_0.7O_3 and La_2CuO_4 were prepared via amorphous heteronuclear complex precursor at a fairly low temperature. The catalytic performances for CO oxidation of the catalysts have been tested. The results show that the nanosized catalysts have excellent CO catalytic abilities and the LaCoO_3 series has better performance than that of the La_2CuO_4 catalyst. The catalytic performance decreased after the catalyst was poisoned by SO_2. The destruction of the perovskite structure was probably the main reason of deactivation.
