WC/TiO2纳米复合材料的制备及其电催化性能

Preparation and Electrocatalytic Properties of WC/TiO2 Nanocomposite

TiO2 nanoparticles of rutile phase were synthesized by hydrolysis of TiCl4 and subsequently used as the supports for the preparation of WC/TiO2 nanocomposites. The nanocomposites were characterized by XRD, SEM and EDS methods, showing that the nanocomposites were composed of the WC nanoparticles uniformly dispersed on the surface of TiO2. The electrocatalytical activity and electrochemical stability of the WC/TiO2 nanocomposites for the electroreduction of nitrobenzene were investigated by cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry. Results indicated that the WC/TiO2 nanocomposites exhibited higher activity and better stability for the electroreduction of nitrobenzene than mesoporous WC (meso-WC) and WC nanoparticles (part-WC).
