Abstract

A novel [3 + 2] cycloaddition reaction of allylic amines with Cgo was found. Good stereoselectivity in this reaction was observed. A possible mechanism involving thermoinduced single electron transfer of allylic amines and radical cycloaddition was proposed. The structures of the cycloaddition products were characterized by spectroscopic means.
