本文报道一种从甲基乙烯基酮和1-已烯经过α-乙基-5-甲基-1,2-氧硼杂环戊烷中间体合成二氢茉莉酮的新方法, 将甲基乙烯基酮和1-已烯溶解在四氢呋喃中,用申硼烷二甲硫醚络合物硼氢化, 得到α-已基-5-甲基-1,2-氧硼杂环戊烷, 再将其与二氯甲基锂反应, 得到中间体1,2-氧硼杂环戊烷(5), 再用氯铬酸吡啶盐(PCC)氧化得到α-5-十一碳二酮, 经分子内缩合得到二氢茉莉酮 。

2-Hexyl-5-methyl-1,2-oxaborolane (I) prepared readily by treatment of a mixture of Me vinyl ketone and 1-hexene with borane-dimethyl sulfide, reacted smoothly with LiCHCl2 to give intermediate II which upon oxidation with pyridinium chlorochromate led to 2,5-undecanedione. The latter afforded dihydrojasmone (III) via an intramol. condensation according to known procedure.
