This paper discusses the molecular inclusion of cyclophane with organic molecule in aqueous and organic media. Cyclophane can form stable inclusion compound with organic guest molecule. Functionlization of cyclophane with catalytic group leads to enzyme model and the enzyme model can bind substrate and catalyze the organic reaction like enzyme.
