Laser Raman spectra of liquid crystals i. The solid phase laser Raman spectra of nineteen liquid crystals

Abstract

The solid phase laser Raman spectra of nineteen liquid crystals, such as biphenyls, biphenylesters, monoesters, diesters, Schiff bases and azoxybenzenes etc., are reported in this paper. The characteristic Raman bands in the range of 2300-400cm**(-1) of different groups and the relationship between the spectra and the structure are also discussed.
