An Efficient Synthesis of Coumarino[4,3-d]pyrazolo[3,4-b]-pyridine Derivatives Catalyzed by Silica Sulfuric Acid under Microwave Irradiation

A series of coumarino[4,3-d]pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridine derivatives were synthesized by the reaction of 3-acylcoumarin with 5-aminopyrazole catalyzed by silica sulfuric acid under microwave irradiation. This method has the advantages of short reaction times (20~30 min), excellent selectivity, good yields, and simple operation as well as environmental friendly. The structures of the products were identified by IR, NMR, and HRMS spectra.
