Abstract

Nanosized mesoporous molecular sieve SBA-15 was synthesized with tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) as the source of silica and P123 [Poly(ethylene glycol)₂₀-Poly(propylene glycol)₂₀-Poly(ethylene glycol)₂₀] as the template. The photoluminescent functional supramolecule Tb(DBM)₃phen/APTES-SBA-15 between the nanosized SBA-15 and Tb(DBM)₃phen was prepared in chloroform, and characterized by XRD, HRTEM, N₂ absorption/desorption, IR and fluorescent spectroscopy.
