研究了二氯甲烷对二苯硫醚、二苯醚和三苯膦的氯代反应, 以了解二氯甲烷在电化学反应中作为氯正离子来源的亲电取代反应. 氯代反应在无隔膜电槽中进行, 采用碳棒电极和对-甲基苯磺酸四乙铵或氯化四乙胺盐为支持电解质.

The electrochlorination of diphenylsulfide and diphenyloxide was carried out in an undivided cell with C rod electrode, using tetraethylammonium p-toluenesulfonate or chloride as supporting electrolyte and methylene chloride as solvent. 4,4'-Dichlorodiphenylsulfide, 4-chlorodiphenylsulfide and the corresponding oxides were obtained, resp. Triphenylphosphine could not be chlorinated under this condition. The test of electrolytic condition and cyclovoltammogram showed that the chloronium ion generated from the electrolysis of methylene chloride was the chlorinating agent.
