Seven unreported α,α-diphenyl-N-[(un)substituted benzyl]-2-pyrrolidinyl-methanol derivatives were synthesized by the reaction of an intermediate ester with Grignard reagent under ultrasonic radiation, and a water and oxygen-free nitrogen atmosphere. Complete assignments were achieved for the title compounds by IR ,¹H NMR spectra and elemental analysis. The preliminary agriculturaly biological activity test indicated that some of them had good insecticidal activities.
