Synthesis of 1,10-phenanthroline complexes of cyclopentadienyl early lanthanide dichloride

Abstract

Four 1,10-phenanthroline (o-phen) coordinated cyclopentadienyl early lanthanide dichloride complexes, CpLnCl2護-phen譚HF (Ln = La, Ce, Pr, Nd) were synthesized by the reaction of LnCl3護-phen and C5H5Na in THF. These compounds were identified by elemental anal., IR, XPS and TG.
