Abstract

Metal compounds containing N and S atoms, M(FcMeNN:CS2R)2 (M = Ni, Cu, Zn, Pd, Co, Cd, Hg; Fc = ferrocenyl; R = Me, CH2Ph), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental anal. IR, UV, and cyclic voltammetry. The IR spectra show that ligands are coordinated to metal ions through azomethine and thiolate groups.
