The "resin-capture-release" hybrid technique, which has merged the merits of solid and solution phase synthesis, allows solution-phase synthesis of small molecular libraries and uses functionalized polymer scavenger to trap selectively the desired products away from solution phase reagents or byproducts. The method is simple, rapid, and easy manipulation and isolation.
