The synthesis and biological activity of 1-aroyl-4-chrysanthemoyl thiosemicarbazides

Abstract

Sixteen of 1-aroyl-4-chrysanthemoyl thiosemicarbazides were synthesized by addition reaction of chrysanthemoyl isothiocyanates with aroyl hydrazines, whose structures were characterized by ^1H NMR, IR, MS and elementary analysis. The biological tests indicated that these compounds had fungicidal activity.
