As functional molecules, organosilicon compounds have important applications in the fields of organic synthesis, materials science and drug development. Carbosilylation of alkenes is a key reaction for synthesizing structurally rich organosilicon compounds and has important applications in constructing structurally diverse organosilicon compounds. The research progress of alkene carbosilylation with different electrophile reagents is systematically reviewed, the basic principle is described in detail, the advantages and limitations of each catalytic system are analyzed, and the future development direction of alkene siliconization reaction is prospected.
