糖苷类化合物因为极性大和热不稳定而难以用通常的电子轰击电离质谱进行结构测定. 我们用FAB-MS和FAB-CA-MIKES对这类化合物进行了结构研究, 不仅获得了准确的分子量和苷元碎片, 还获得了糖的序列以及糖本身的裂解途径等重要结构信息.

The glycosides from the traditional Chinese medicine, e.g., digitoxin, glycyrrhizin, and rutin, were studied by the fast atom bombardment mass spectrometry (FAB-MS) and FAB-CA-MIKES. It was found that the accurate mol. wt. and the sequence of their sugars moieties could be obtained directly by FAB-MS and FAB-CA-MIKES. Some useful fragmentation rules of the sugars in the glycosides were reported.
