Study on ternary system AgCl-CS(NH~2)~2-H~2O at 30 c

The solubilities and n of saturated solns. in the title ternary system were studied at 30?and the corresponding equilibrium diagram was constructed. The results indicated that there are 4 solid phases in this system, the 2 end components AgCl and CS(NH2)2, and 2 incongruent soluble complexes Ag[CS(NH2)2]3Cl and Ag[CS(NH2)2]2Cl. The presence of the 2 complexes was confirmed by x-ray diffraction.
