Synthesis and Antimicrobial Activity of 2-(2'-Substituted hydra-zono)-1,3-dithiacyclopentane Derivatives

Eleven 2-(2'-substituted hydrazono)-1,3-dithiacyclopentane derivatives have been designed and synthesized. Their structures have been confirmed by 1H NMR, MS, IR spectra and elemental analysis. The antimicrobial test showed that the compounds possess a good antimicrobial activity on the testing bacterium and more expansive antimicrobial activity than tricyclazole and thiophanate-methyl (on sale). Among these, 4c has good antimicrobial activity on S. aureus, E. coli, S. ligneres, P. Vulgaris and D. cata.
