Abstract

The adsorbing process of the cellulose nitrate containing secondary amino group (ACN) for creatinine was studied by IR, ¹³C NMR and XPS techniques. The results showed that under simulated biological conditions, the chemisorption of creatinine on the surface of ACN in dialysate could be attributed to the formation of ionic bond between the alkalized nitrate and the carbon atom of guanidine.
