Synthesis and Biological Activity of O-Substituted Phenyl O-2- Stearamidoethyl N,N-Bis(2-chloroethyl)-phosphoramidate

N-Acylethanolamine (NAE), an endogenous substance of plants, plays important role in regulation of plant growth. To make up for its deficiency in solubility and transportation in vivo that is led by its long fatty chain, NAE18 was introduced into nitrogen mustard phosphorate and a series of title compounds were prepared. In the reaction of NAE18 with nitrogen mustard aryl phosphorochloridate, 4-dimethylaminopyridine (DMAP) played critical catalytic action. Under the same condition without DMAP, no reaction happened. The plant growth and antifungal bioactivities of title compounds were tested and the data suggested that after the structural modification most title compounds have better bioactivity than NAE18.
