Synthesis of 2-(Substituted aminothiocar-bonyl)-3,4,5,6-tetrahydropyrimidines

series of 2-substituted aminothiocarbonyl-3,4,5,6-tetrahydropyrimidine compounds were synthesized by the condensation reaction of N,N'-disubstituted dithiooxamide with 1,3-propylenediamine in DMSO. The reactions were completed in 2 h with the yields of 56%~76%. The structures of the products were established by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR and MS spectra.
