Transition metal-phosphorus complexes are very important for the organic synthesis and catalytic reactions. Many phosphorus ligands and heteroatom ligands containing phosphorus were synthesized. On the other hand, hydrosilylation is one of the most important reactions in organosilicon chemistry, and many organosilicon monomers containing functional groups have been synthesized via this reaction. The catalytic hydrosilylation process is well established, and many transition metals such as platinum, palladium, rhodium, ruthenium or other transition metal phosphorus complexes are widely used in hydrosilylation reac-tions, though it is still desirable to further increase the catalytic activity and selectivity and to minimize the amount of catalyst. In this paper, the progress of transition metal-phosphorus complexes in hydrosilylation during recent years is reviewed.
