Synthesis and Anti-tumor Activity of Novel 2-Amino-1,3,4-thiadiazole Derivativers

A series of novel N1-(5-substituted-1,3,4-thiadiazole-2-yl)-N3-substituted phenyl-urea derivatives have been synthesized and evaluated for their anti-tumor activity. The effect of the title compounds on tumor metastasis was analyzed by Lewis-lung-carcinoma model. The bioassay showed that some title compounds dramatically reduced the numbers of lung metastasis and depressed the primary tumor growth. The structures of compounds were identified from the elemental analysis, IR and 1H NMR.
