Abstract:
Two series of chromene derivatives were synthesized from the substituted salicylaldehyde with cyanoacetate in water at two reaction temperatures catalyzed by triethylbenzyl ammonium chloride (TEBAC). Such method has the advantages of easier work-up, milder reaction conditions, better yields than other synthetic methods. |
