Recent Progress in Copper Catalyzed C—H Functionalizations

The past decades have witnessed the great progress of copper-catalyzed C—H functionalization reactions, which have shown great potential in synthesizing multi-functionalized organic compounds. In the present review, the recent development of Cu(I)/Cu(II) catalyzed sp, sp2 and sp3 C—H bond functionalizations since 2008 is systematically summarized. Besides of the reaction conditions and substrate scopes for different C—H functionalizations, and the reported mechanistic studies were also summarized and discussed.
