碳纳米管的表面修饰及TiO2-CNTs复合催化剂的光催化性能

Surface Modification of Carbon Nano Tubes for the Photocatalytic Activity Enhancement of Composite TiO2-CNTs

运用酸氧化和聚乙烯醇表面修饰碳纳米管, 修饰的碳纳米管的水分散性能显著改善. 进一步地运用低温水热法合成表面修饰的碳纳米管复合TiO2, 观察到了复合催化剂紫外及可见光激发下的光催化性能的明显提升. 红外光谱、X光电子能谱、差热-热重分析、X光衍射、Brunauer-Emmett-Teller低温氮吸附、透射电镜及紫外-可见漫反射光谱等表征表明, 复合催化剂光催化性能改善与碳纳米管良好水溶液分散性能导致的TiO2在修饰的碳纳米管表面的均匀、致密分散和密切键合, 从而充分利用碳纳米管的功能密切关联.

A new method to improve photocatalytic performance of TiO2 by dispersing TiO2 onto carbon nano tubes (CNTs) hydrophilically modified by acid and polyvinyl alcohol is reported. Characterizations using various techniques such as Fourier transform-infrared spectroscopy, X ray photoelectron spectroscopy, thermogravimetric-differential thermal analysis, X-ray diffraction, Brunauer-Emmett-Teller N2 adsorption, transmission electron microscopy and UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy indicated that the improved photocatalytic activity of the composites was attributed to the high dispersion of TiO2 on CNTs and the intimate contact between TiO2 and CNTs resulting in dense heterojunctions at the interface of TiO2 and CNTs to take full advantages of CNTs functionalities.
