The complex kinetics of L-H mechanism of isomerization of butenes

Abstract

The complex kinetics of L-H mechanism of isomerization of butenes has been investigated in flow-recirculation glass reactor. The parameters of kinetic equations were estimated by the method of orthogonal design. Gas-solid chromatog. has been used to measure the heats of adsorption of butenes. The kinetic equations for the isomerization to form trans-2-butene and cis-2-butene were developed.
