A Rare Sesquiterpene from Hawk Tea

从毛豹皮樟来源的贵州老鹰茶树皮中分离得到一个罕见的倍半萜类化合物, 新化合物命名为hawkteasesquioid A (1), 具有新颖的5/6/5三环螺骨架. 通过高分辨电喷雾质谱(HRESIMS)、一维(1D)和二维(2D)核磁共振(NMR)谱以及单晶X射线衍射技术, 确定了该新颖化合物的结构. 在A549, HT-29和SW1990细胞系上评估了该化合物的细胞毒性.

A rare sesquiterpene of hawkteasesquioid A (1), featuring a novel 5/6/5 tricyclic system containing a 6,5-spiroketal motif, was isolated from the bark of Litsea coreana Lévl. var. lanuginosa (hawk tea). The structure of this compound was elucidated based on the high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (HRESIMS), one-dimensional (1D) and two-dimensional (2D) nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction data. The cytotoxicity of this compound was assessed on the A549, HT-29, and SW1990 cell lines.
