Efficient One-Pot Synthesis of 1,4-Dihydropyridino[3,2-c]coumarins

Efficient one-pot synthesis of 1,4-dihydropyridino[3,2-c]coumarines was obtained starting from 4-aminocou-marin, aromatic aldehydes and phenylacetylene via imino-Diels-Alder reaction in the presences of molecular iodine as a catalyst in good yields. All of above compounds have been confirmed by NMR, IR, MS spectra and elemental analysis.
