Study on the synthesis of novel 5-aryl-3,5-diethoxy-2(5H)-furanone and the reaction mechanism of the synthetic route

A convenient synthetic route to 5-aryl-3,5-diethoxy-2(5H)-furanones has been developed. The reaction mechanism is also studied. The products were identified by IR, NMR, MS, and elemental analysis or HRMS.
