Recent Advances in Synthesis and Biological Activity of α-AminophosphonicAcids and Their Esters

Aminophosphonic acid and their derivates as phosphorus analogues of natural amino acids have been a noteworthy at home and abroad nowadays. They play more and more important roles in organic chemistry, medicine and agrochemicals. In this paper, recent advance in synthesis, stereochemistry and biological activity of α-aminophosphonic acid and theiresters is reviewed. The developing trend and broad application prospects of aminophosphonic acid and their ester derivates are also discussed.
