A series of 1,3-bis[3-aryl-1,2,4-triazolo[3,4-b]-1,3,4-thiadiazole-6-yl]propanes (3a～3o) were synthesized in good yields by condensation of pentanedioic acid (1) with 3-aryl-4-amino-5-mercapto-1,2,4-triazoles (2a～2o) in the presence of phase transfer catalyst tetrabutylammonium iodide and phosphorus oxychloride. The structures of 3a～3o were confirmed by IR, 1H NMR, MS spectra and elementary analyses.
