Synthesis and Herbicidal Activities of 2-(3-(2-Substituedphenyl) -1H-pyrazol-1-yl)-4,6-Dimethoxypyrimidine Derivatives

Twenty two novel 2-[3-(2-substituedphenyl)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl]-4,6-dimethoxypyrimidine derivatives have been designed and synthesized using 1-(2-hydroxyphenyl)ethanone as starting material. All synthesized compounds were confirmed by 1H NMR , MS and elemental analysis techniques. The preliminary bioassay showed that some of them exhibited certain herbicidal activities.
