Pyrimidine compounds have been the subject of much attention in pesticide and medicine fields owing to their unique biological properties. In addition, the introduction of different groups into pyrimidine structures can generate a series of pyrimidine compounds with antifungal activity, which have played an important role in pesticide application. The synthesis and antifungal activity research for pyrimidine compounds are reviewed. The developing trends and application prospects of pyrimidine compounds are also discussed.
