Synthesize and Characterized of Bis(4-pyrrol-1'-ylphenyl)Y (Y＝Methane, Ether or Sulfone)

Abstract

3-Aroylmethyl-2,4-pentandiones (1a and 1b) were synthesized by the reacting acetylacetone with substituted ω-bromoacetophenone. Subsequently, 1a or 1b reacted with aromatic diamines 2a～2c to give bis(4-pyrrol-1'-ylphenyl)Y (Y＝methane, ether or sulfone). The structures of products were characterized by UV, IR, ¹H NMR spectra and elemental analysis.
