In an attempt to find novel pesticides with high activity, low toxicity and low residue, a series of novel 1-(pyrimidin-4-yl)-3-(2,6-difluorobenzoyl)urea derivatives 6a6l were designed and synthesized. Their structures were confirmed by IR, 1H NMR, LC/MS spectra and elemental analysis. The results of preliminary bioassay showed that some title compounds possessed obvious insecticidal activity, e.g. 6g showed 100% biological activity against Mythimna sepatara at 100 mg/L.
