Abstract

The microwave-enhanced synthesis of thiocarbonohydrazones from aromatic aldehydes and thiocarbonohydrazide under solvent-free conditions without catalyst was achieved. This method is a good option to obtain the title compounds in a simple and inexpensive way. Their structures were confirmed by ¹H NMR and IR spectra.
