- About the Cover:
  
  A single component molybdenum catalyst was synthesized and its activity in the cycloaddition reaction of CO₂ and epoxide was tested by Wang, Tao, Chen, Du, Bo, Li, and Liu on page 4354. The results show that the molybdenum catalysts exhibit high activity and a broad substrate scope under the reaction conditions of 80 ℃ and 0.5 MPa of CO₂, solvent-free, and without co-cata- lyst as nucleophile, affording a wide range of cyclic carbonates in yields of 42%～94%.

  The cover image depicts the synthesis and antitumor evaluation of 6-(N-imide)-β-carboline derivatives with diverse substituents which were designed and synthesized by Qiu, Wang, Zhang, and Guo on page 4362. The left and right scaffolds are β-carboline precursors, while the central structure is the cyclic anhydride reagent. Overlapping red/green circles symbolize this derivatization, yielding the target derivatives. The background shows the Library of Shihezi University, anchoring this work to its institutional home.
