Synthesis of 1-Phenyl-3-arylpyrazole-4-aldehyde Hydrazone Derivatives and Their Fluorescent Properties

By the condensation of 4-substituted acetophenones (1a1d) with benzene hydrazine and subsequent reaction with Vilsmeier-Haak reagent, 1-phenyl-3-aryl-4-formylpyrazoles (3a3d) were obtained. Then they reacted with 2-hydrazino-4/6-substituted benzothiazoles (4a4f) and produced a series of novel 1-phenyl-3-arylpyrazole-4-aldehyde N-(4/6-substituted benzothiazol-2-yl) hydrazones 58. Their structures were es-tablished on the basis of IR, 1H NMR, MS spectra and elemental analysis. The fluorescent spectra of compounds 58 were detected and showed that they had fluorescence. The ef-fect of the structure of the compound on fluorescent properties was also discussed.
