Synthesis of 2-(Un)substituted Benzamido-5-(1-phenyl-3-methyl-5- chloropyrazol-4-yl)-1,3,4-thiadiazole Derivatives under Microwave Radiation

A series of novel 2-(un)substituted benzamido-5-(1-phenyl-3-methyl-5-chloropyrazol-4-yl)-
1,3,4-thiadiazole derivatives (3a~3j) have been synthesized by the reaction of 2-amino-5-(1-phenyl-3-
methyl-5-chloropyrazol-4-yl)-1,3,4-thiadiazole (1) with (un)substituted benzoylchlorides (2a~2j) under a microwave radiation condition and an ordinary heating condition. The structures of these compounds were confirmed by elemental analysis, IR and 1H NMR spectra.
