2-羟基-3-甲氧基-5-甲基苯甲醛分别与乙二胺,1,2-丙二胺,1,3-丙二胺,2,3-二甲基-2,3-丁二胺及邻苯二胺反应, 合成出一系列二元Schiff 碱型化合物. 测定Schiff碱与钴(Ⅱ)离子配合后的配合物对氧分子的加合常数, 讨论了结构与加合性能之间的关系,配合物中二胺-钴螯合环的刚性对配合物的氧加合性有重要影响

Five binary Schiff bases and their dioxygen affinity Co(II) complexes were synthesized from 2-hydroxy-3-methoxy-5-methylbenzaldehyde and diamines such as ethylenediamine, 1,2-propylenediamine, 2,3-dimethyl-2, 3-butylenediamine, 1,3-propylenediamine and 1,2-phenylenediamine. The adduction constants of these complexes to dioxygen (O2) were measured in diglyme solution with 4-methylpyridine as an axial ligand. Their affinity to O2 was influenced remarkably by rigidity of the diamine-Co(II) chelating ring in the complexes.
