Nine thiourea derivatives of alkyl 4-(nitrophenyl)-3-thio-allophanate (1-9) have been synthesized by the reaction of various nitroaniline with alkoxycarbonyl isothiocyanates (Me or Et) and transesterification of methyl or ethyl 4-(nitrophenyl)-3-thio-allophanate (1-6) with excess Ti·(OBu-n)~4. The biological activity of 1-9, inhibiting the growth of agrobacterium, was investigated.
