Abstract

This paper outlines the progress contributed from authors' laboratory in the total synthesis f natural products, especially the synthesis of highly bioactive acyclic compounds using carbohydrate as chiralpool. In addition some new results on the synthetic strategy and methodology applied in these syntheses were also mentioned.
