A Solvent-free Procedure for Synthesis of N-Sulfonylimines Catalyzed by Zr(SO4)2•4H2O/SiO2 Solid Acid under Microwave Irradiation

A manipulative simple and rapid procedure for the synthesis of N-sulfonylimines from aldehydes with sulfonamides was described. The reaction was conducted under microwave irradiation conditions in the absence of solvent using Zr(SO4)2•4H2O/SiO2 solid acid as catalyst . This solid acid is cheap, highly-active, chemically green and reusable.
