Studies on the Synthesis and Biological Activities of 2-[(2-Chloro- 5-pyridylmethylamino)(aryl)methyl]-4-aryl-5,5-dimethyl-1,3,2-dioxaphosphinane 2-Oxides

Ten novel cyclic α-aminophosphonates containing pyridine moiety were synthesized by “one pot” Mannich-type reaction. Their structures were confirmed by 1H NMR, 31P NMR, IR, MS spectra and elemental analysis. The preliminary biological activity tests show that all of the compounds have weak insecticidal activity but they have very good herbicidal activity at the concentration of 1.0×10-4 g/mL, and some of the target compounds possess good fungicidal activity at the concentration of 5.0×10-5 g/mL .
