This paper presents a review on the recent development of the glycopeptide syntheses. Several methodologies were described including chemical synthesis (glycosyl trichloroacetimidates or anhydrosugars as glycosyl donors), enzymatic synthesis, solid-phase synthesis and enzymatic solid phase synthesis. The factors which affect the results of glycopeptide synthesis were analyzed.
