Abstract

Sixteen complexes of β-alkoxycarbonylethyltintrichlorides with monodentate ligands such as dimethylsulfoxide, pyridine N-oxide and pyridine were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, ^1H NMR and TG-DTA. The transesterification of β- methoxycarbonylethyltin trichloride complexes with an alcohol was reported and the possible mechanism was suggested.
